Admin lock of screen settings and widgets
Administrators can lock both the general screen settings and specific widgets. This ensures that a non-administrator cannot later change the settings or delete the widgets, regardless of whether the user has been granted access to edit the screen.
Admin lock of screen settings
While the screen editor is open, click the gear icon to view the screen’s general settings. Check the box next to “Lock by admin.” This will ensure that the screen’s general settings can only be modified by an admin later.
Admin lock of widgets
Click on and select a screen area, then choose a widget in the timeline that should be locked. Check the box next to “Locked by admin.” This will ensure that the widget can only be modified or deleted by an admin.
! Remember to click “Save” at the end to keep the changes you made. The changes will manifest on the connected physical screen(s) within 15 minutes.
